In the early morning hours of June 5th, 2002 The Town of Southwest Ranches Fire Rescue Department not only lost one if it’s members, but an individual who loved and served his community with great passion. Mr. Dollar also served as the Town’s Police/Fire Commissioner. Johnny or The Comish as so many affectionately called him, will be remembered for many things. His great personal accomplishments, his devotion and most of all his unselfishness not only the Town but to this Department that he so proudly represented. Mr. Dollar is survived by his wife Southwest Ranches Firefighter/EMT Tami Dollar and his three children. Southwest Ranches Fire Rescue expresses its deepest condolences to the Dollar Family.
